On the sunny slopes of Pacherhof’s vineyard in Neustift near Brixen, South Tyrol, cellar master Andreas Huber grows the following wines:

Character:
Müller Thurgau is a tasty white wine with a greenish to light yellow colour. The fragrance is flowery and evokes grass and nutmeg. The taste is freshly aromatic.
Recommendation:
It is suitable as an aperitif, for light starters, boiled and grilled fish.

Character:
Sylvaner is a pleasantly fresh white wine.
Its colour ranges from light yellow to greenish.
The aroma is fresh and fruity and evokes fresh hay.
The taste is similar to gooseberries and peaches.
Recommendation:
Sylvaner is eminently suitable as an aperitif, or with asparagus and fish.

Character:
Kerner is a classy, spicy white wine, straw-yellow with hints of green, delicate bouquet, dry and full flavour with overtones of nutmeg.
Recommentation:
It goes well with light starters, grilled fish and as an aperitif.

| Gewürztraminer |

Character:
The colour ranges from straw to golden yellow. The Gewürztraminer is an aromatic and full-bodied white wine with a light to distinctive fragrance and pleasantly dry, lightly spicy aromas. In addition to spicy overtones, there are also hints of cloves, roses and lychees that give it a distinctive bouquet. The Gewürztraminer is one of South Tyrol’s most sought-after wines.
Recommendation:
The Gewürztraminer goes extremely well with fish starters, vol-au-vents, goose liver, shellfish and oriental dishes.

Character:
The Ruländer is a full-bodied white wine. The colour is straw-yellow, aroma flowery, flavour pleasantly smooth. When fully mature, overtones of nuts and honey are noticeable.
Recommendation:
Ruländer wine goes extremely well with mushrooms, fish and seafood.

Riesling is an exclusive, greenish to light yellow white wine with a delicate flowery fragrance that often recalls peaches, apricots, quinces and green apples. It has a lively and exclusive taste.
